Art UK was built by Keepthinking in partnership with Knowledge Integration. Keepthinking was the lead agency. It designed and built the public-facing pages of the site. Knowledge Integration was responsible for the Elasticsearch facility. Keepthinking created the Collections Portal, the participating collections' interface for uploading and updating artwork records. Numiko built the Permissions Portal.
Williams Commerce built the Art UK Shop. Heritage Digital Ltd fulfil the Art UK Shop.
Intelligent Heritage was responsible for the technical requirements specifications for each component of the Art UK platform and has been the technical project manager for the implementation of each component.
Pentagram, at close to pro bono rates, was responsible for the Art UK logo design and brand guidelines.
