Motivation
Vice has been optimized to work with Plone 3.0, and has been developed as part of a Google Summer of Code project. The basesyndication product is expected to phase out, and Vice will be the new way of handling syndication in Plone.
Proposal
Swap out the basesyndication code, and replace it with Vice code.
