Plone4ArtistsGroups gives bands a project folder where they can both promote their music to the public, as well as a password protected working space for the band members to schedule rehearsals, upload MP3s of songs to work on, and PDFs of sheet music.

• Artist - each artist can create an artist's profile with their headshot photo, a biography and links to the groups that they are in.
  
• Group - if you are running a site for musicians, the group folder will be a container for a band to put their gig calendar, recordings, photos, audio files. This band folder can be shared so that all the band member can contribute to the space. A group can be referenced to multiple artists who are the band members.
  
• Recording - if you are running a site for musicians, a recording will usually be a CD. The CD view page provides links to buy the CD via PayPal, Amazon, CDBaby. Eventually these CDs will also be purchasable on the Plone site using PloneGetPaid. It will also be possible to purchase individual downloadable tracks or offer premium subscriptions.
  
• Audio - the audio files usually comprise the tracks on a CD. The audio files can be played back in the browser, downloaded or streamed using an external media player program (iTunes, Winamp, etc.).
  
• Video - Video files can either be uploaded as files, or links that embed videos in your Plone site that are hosted on YouTube, Google Video, blip.tv, etc.
  
• Photos - groups can create photo albums by uploading photos from their computer into the Plone site, or display photos that are already being hosted on flickr.com.
  
• Site Member - when a new member joins the site, they create a member profile. You can easily add new properties to the site member profile, if you want to ask the members specific questions when they register. And just like other content types, members can be workflowed which means you can collect payment before they become a full-fledged member.
