The goals of this sprint are to improve the calendaring functionality of Plone, in particular support recurring events, better views of events, better search and better iCal integration.
Sprint goals
- Release Plone4ArtistsCalendar 1.1
- Finish the technical aspects of recurrence of p4a.ploneevent
- Integrate the recurrence with Dateable so we have views that works with recurrence.
- Merge Plone4ArtistsCalendar + dateable.
- Better iCal integration (get rid of Marshalling)
- Implement a week view like the one at NY Mag (Installable as an alternative view)
- The finishing of the location provider stuff started(?) at the Sorrento-sprint.
- Better event search (from the Weblion usecases)
- Fix usability issues as identified by Weblion team
