Douglas Erskine is an art writer and researcher based in Edinburgh.

With a particular interest in postwar painting in the west of Scotland, Douglas has researched the life and work of the Glasgow artist Alan Fletcher in great depth; always eager to learn more, he is particularly interested in hearing from those who own work by Fletcher.

Douglas is a regular contributor to the online Scottish art magazine, art-scot.

Also a passionate collector, works from his private collection have been loaned to major exhibitions.
